The lie and fallacy of absolute science — Science is needed. It’s also a famous word. But what, in actuality, is science? In general, science is a systematic approach and process of collecting observations and interpreting those perceived observations in order to understand a reality. Is science ethical? Should it be? Why is there a desire for doctors to be moral and ethical? Should a doctor be able to lie to you? What about an entrepreneur? Or a fund manager?

Dimensions worth thinking about — “When in Rome, do as the Romans” — it’s a telling phrase. That one should just go with the herd, like animals do. Animals may do this in the hopes of avoiding predators. This suggests it wasn’t safe to live as a human being in Roman society. It suggests adopting the same mindset. Becoming a people with the inability to critically think for themselves, or at least choosing ignorance, like taking the blue pill instead. Education is better described as indoctrination. Ignorance is valued above wisdom.
